IMPORTANT: AS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED, THE SERVICE HAS BEEN INTERRUPTED

What is Svector?
Svector the social vector (Svector) is a social delivery app that allows users to get hold of a desired but not accessible object (mainly due to distance) thanks to people travelling who bring the object with them.

Where can I find Svector?
Svector is a free app, available on Google Play and soon on App Store.

Where can I use Svector?
Svector is now active in Italy and Germany. The service will be soon extended to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom.

How do I become a Svector User?
To become a User you need to download Svector the social vector App from the store, read and accept the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and User Guide, then register.

As specified in the Terms & Conditions, Users must be at least 18 years old.

How much does Svector cost?
To be part of the Svector community is free. Svector does not make any money on any of the offered services.

Which are possible roles one can play on Svector?
There are two possible roles on Svector: a User can be either a Traveler or a Wisher.

A Wisher is a User who puts the Wish on his/her “My Wishlist” section.  A Wish is any object he/she wants to obtain. The Wisher arranges the picking of the object in the place of origin and guarantees the Traveler to pick it up at the destination.
A Traveler is a User who is available to carry a Wish (object) for a Wisher. He/she inserts his/her planned travel route in the section “My Travels”.

How does Svector work?
When the system finds a match between a Wisher’s request and a Traveler’s availability, it sends a notification to the Traveler with the details of the object that needs to be transported and/or bought on behalf of the Wisher.

Besides viewing the Wish (the object that needs to be transported), the Traveler is able to see the Wisher’s profile and read his/her feedbacks, left by other Users on previous transactions.
The Traveler, when interested, can get in touch with the Wisher by clicking on the button “Approve” or may remove the transportation request by clicking on the button “Reject”.
If the Traveler chooses to contact the Wisher, the latter is notified, so that he/she can view the details of the Travel and the Traveler’s profile.
If the Wisher too is interested in contacting the Traveler, he/she clicks on the button “Approve”.
From this moment on, Traveler and Wisher are in contact and can agree on transportation details through the messaging system also available on the app. If the Wisher is not interested in the Traveler’s proposal, he/she clicks on the button “Reject”. The Traveler will be notified about the Wisher’s lack of interest in receiving an object through that Traveler.

Can I send a package to a User even if he/she is not aware of it?
No, through Svector, Users can only agree upon transporting/receiving packages. Sending items to someone who is unaware of this is forbidden. Wisher and Traveler must personally make arrangements concerning the exchange. The Wisher communicates to the Traveler how, when and where picking the object up.
The Wisher is responsible to organize the picking of the Wish. Svector does not provide any support for the picking of the Wish.
It is forbidden to the Traveler to transport an object for a Wisher, although member of the Community, if the Wisher has not directly arrange the transportation with the Traveler.

What can I ask/give in exchange for the transportation of a Wish?
Within reasonable bounds to the service offered, Traveler and Wisher agree on an exchange. On Svector format Users can choose among three exchange possibilities:

  • Social: a unique experience, only as an example: a dinner invitation or a guided tour around the city of destination.
  • Money: contributions to the transportation costs of the Wish. Unless different agreements are made between Users, the amount must be in Euro, which is the trading currency for Svector.
  • Nothing: transportation of a Wish for free, just to make someone else happy.

Is it possible to ask the Traveler to buy a product (Wish) besides transporting it?
Yes. You can choose this option while adding a Wish on “My Wishlist”.
The Wisher must refund the Traveler for the cost of the product.

How can I add a Wish?
To add a Wish the User needs to click on “add Wish” on the “Homepage” or on “My Wishlist” and enter the Whish into the given format by inserting:

  • Whether  the object must be purchased besides being transported
  • Name of the item
  • A description of the item: it must be precise and accurate. If the item needs to be bought, it is important to specify brand, price and place where it can be purchased.
  • The size of the Wish:
    • S: Small –  something that can be contained in a box, such that the sum of its dimensions is   25 cm
    • M: Medium – something that can be contained in a box, such that the sum of its dimensions is   70 cm
    • L: Large – something that can be contained in a box, such that the sum of its dimensions is  more than 70 cm
  • A picture of the Wish
  • Location of departure: if the Wish needs to be transported only the location must be precise. If the product can be purchased in an entire country, the location may be indicated as this country.
  • Locarion of arrival
  • What the User offers to give in exchange for the transportation:
    • Social: a unique experience, only as an example: a dinner invitation or a guided tour around the city of destination.
    • Money: contributions to the transportation costs of the Wish. Unless different agreements are made between Users, the amount must be in Euro, which is the trading currency for Svector.
    • Nothing: transportation of a Wish for free, just to make someone else happy.

How long is a Wish valid for?
A Wish is valid for three months from its first insertion; after this time it is removed from the platform.

In the current version Svector does not send a notice to the Wisher when a Whish is due to expire.
The Wisher undertakes to remove a Wish when it has been received.

Are there any restrictions about the transportation of certain objects?
Yes, the request to purchase and/or transport as a Wish goods whose transportation and holding can be prosecuted by law is expressly prohibited, such as merely by way of example but not limited to: arms, pharmaceuticals, drugs, pedo-pornographic material, protected animals, works of art.

What is the “latest date for the travel”?
When adding a Frequent route, the User indicates only departure and arrival locations. When an inserted Frequent route matches with a Wish and this matching is confirmed, the Traveler needs to add more info about his/her planned trip.
Among this, the Traveler specifies the “latest date for the travel”, which is the expected date by which he/she will make the trip.

How does the button “Reject all” work?
The button “Reject all” appears on the Traveler’s device from the second time on that a Travel matches with a Wish. In case the Traveler wants to reject not only the match just notified, but also all the possible future matches on that Travel, he clicks on the button “Reject all”. From that moment on the inserted Travel will not match anymore with any other Wishes.

How can I add a planned trip?
To add a travel route the User needs to click on “add Travel” on the “Homepage” or on “My Travels”. The User indicates if the planned trip is specific (it is made only once) or frequent (the User travels on that route at least a couple of times a year.
Depending on the choice, the Traveler adds a Travel (specific trip) or a Frequent route (frequent trip, availability on a route).
To insert a Travel the User needs to add into the given format:

  • Location, date and time of departure and arrival
  • Means of transportation used for travelling
  • The size of the Wish he/she would be able to carry:
    • S: Small –  something that can be contained in a box, such that the sum of its dimensions is   25 cm
    • M: Medium – something that can be contained in a box, such that the sum of its dimensions is   70 cm
    • L: Large – something that can be contained in a box, such that the sum of its dimensions is more than 70 cm
  • What the User wishes to receive in exchange for the transportation:
    • Social: a unique experience, only as an example: a dinner invitation or a guided tour around the city of destination.
    • Money: contributions to the transportation costs of the Wish.
    • Nothing: transportation of a Wish for free, just to make someone else happy.

How are Users able to trust each other?
Svector is a feedback-based platform. It is Svector community that includes or excludes a User on the basis of a shared experience. For this reason, it is very important to give feedback after transporting/receiving a Wish.

A Traveler has the right to inspect the package before carrying it.

How does feedback work?
A feedback is made up of two parts: a rating and a comment.

A rating can vary between 1 (minimum) and 5 (maximum)

  1. Poor
  2. Fair
  3. Good
  4. Very good
  5. Outstanding

Wisher and Traveler need to submit feedback within 14 days of the conclusion date of the Travel. The User shall give a feedback only if a transaction occurred and not if Users have only been exchanging information without coming to a concrete agreement.
When both Users have inserted their feedback, they are visible on each User’s Profile.
Feedback given by User 1 to User 2, is not visible to User 2 until he/she gives feedback to User 1 or until 14 days after the conclusion of the Travel.
If, after 14 days, only one of the two Users has given feedback, this feedback is published anyway.

What happens if I need to cancel a Wish or a Travel after agreements with another User have already been made?
You might have to cancel a Wish or a Travel after you have already arranged transportation details with another User. In this case, Svector system sends a notification to the User you agreed with. In any case before cancelling a Travel/Wish, you must promptly inform him/her.

Svector is a platform based on mutual courtesy and respect.

Can a Traveler carry more than a Wish in the same Travel?
Yes, it is possible for a Traveler to carry more than one Wish during the same Travel. These Wishes may refer to one or more Wishers.

How can I communicate a malfunction of the platform?
When a User detects any defects he/she should contact Svector by clicking on “Contact us” and by filling out a standardized form, so that the problem can be solved as soon as possible.
